What the heck just happened here?

So I was at the hardware store getting hardware cloth today and we started talking about my chickens. Before I knew it, I was taking home a 3 week old RIR pullet. Huh? THAT wasn't supposed to happen!

You know, I was only supposed to have THREE and now I have an even dozen.

And here's the best part: the new chicken fell asleep on my lap tonight. Jeez. I need another coop and the first one still isn't finished!

Not sure I understand the question. Nothing happened, nothing at all.

I don't see anything strange or unusual about that . It is totally normal predictable behavior for us chicken obsessed people that's the way I see it. .

I was supposed to have 5 and I am now up to 18 and on Weds. I will be up to 24. It's all my husbands faullt, he keeps adding on to the coop, and it is my job and duty in life to fill it. So there !!!!

I was supposed to have 20, I have 45. I was only supposed to have 2 kids, I have 4, only supposed to have 1 dog, I have 5...I think there is a theme here with us chicken folk!
