Hello! I need some serious help. I have 18 hens. No roosters. I got them all as babies in February. They just started laying eggs. In this last week, I have 6 hens who all have bald spots on their back near their tail Feathers! Some are scabby and bleeding. Please help. I have no idea what’s wrong or why this is happening.

Looks like you've got a mean hen on your hands! Watch em for a bit and u will prob see it packing and chasing those 6 around... hope they get better... might need to cull or get rid of the problem tho...

What are the dimensions of your coop and run? What are you feeding them? Have you looked them over for lice and mites?
