What the.....?

They just have nothing for spurs for 10 month olds though and no crowing.... My 7 monthers already have 2-3 spurs at 3/8ths inch.

I know what you mean, which also backs up my theory of them being Langshans. They are a very slow maturing breed. Same as in Brahmas and English Orpingtons, mine aren't full grow until they are around two years old.

Thank you everyone. I just looked up Langshans and I'm thinking they are pretty darn close. I just looked at their legs and it looks like they both have tiny spurs coming in. I also have 4 Rhode Island Reds, 4 Black Australorps, 4 Sliver Wyandottes in my egg laying flock. 7 White Leghorns showed up with our other 50 Cornish X batch we purchased from TSC. 4 were roosters which are now chilling in the freezer ;). I think I may need to change where I buy my meat chickens from.

I've heard other complaints regarding chick vent sexing being a 90% thing as well. I don't know how to do it and most times I see people say its best left to professionals. Don't know how true that statement is as it is beyond my "paygrade".
