Or maaaybe the place I got them fibbed a little- they are kinda different colors. And … the 2 sweet ones are more red (as RIs). These other 3?? Pft. Maybe they ARE possessed. Not too sweet.

My first broody was a breed that was never suppose to go broody - yeah, she didn't get that memo - and raised chicks just fine.

Well… sad update…. She was out and about having a good day yesterday…decided she Was Not broody... BUT she just didn’t make it. I found she died in her sleep in the hen house.
I think she was older than they told me- her legs looked a different color. Anyway- I’ll blame the heat combined with ‘old age’.
