What time do you let your chickens out?

I open the coop door shortly after sunrise and close it up just before sunset.

I usually open the coop between 5-6am. This morning I was able to sleep in and they were let out at 7:30am. They seemed fine having to wait. I can't usually sleep in, so they won't have to worry about that too much, haha.

I usually leave for work about 7:10 and typically go out about 7 to give them a treat and let then out to the run. My concern is that my coop is vey secure but my run is temporary and only covered with poultry net. People in our area have been losing a lot of chickens to raccoons lately and I'm getting nervous about letting them out into the run and leaving for work now that it's still pretty dark when I leave.
