What time of day do hens usually lay?

I also have Sexlinks and the range is very wide. Since I don't have a job outside of the home anymore I go out off and on all day long to check and more times than none I come back with an egg or two.

My brahmas follow the 26 hour thing to a T, except that they usually lay for 4 days, then take a day off and repeat.

Also, as often happens with females living together they all lay on the same schedule. Nestbox fights and long waiting lines are the result.

Hello 2 of ours started laying a week ago and one started 2 days ago.So far the two are laying between 11 and 12am.
The new layer is between 7 and 9 pm.

Generally mine are done by 5:30..some start really early though...so it just depends on the hen honestly speaking.

I start getting eggs about 7:30 am, most are there by 10:00am. But some show up all day long until about 6pm. Mostly in morning.
