What time of day do your hens lay?

I've heard that I should delay checking for eggs until about 10 or 11 am. What time do your hens usually lay?

Ours are 8 month sexinks and they seem to lay at no fixed time. We usually get between and 3 and 5 from 6 hens, and it's usually staggered throughout the day. I tend to check several times...once found one that had been pecked so I like to collect as soon as I can.

Since hens lay ever 24-36 hours, there is no specific time. Each hens time would get later each day until she eventually skips a day, then lays again first thing in the morning.
