I’m planning on hatching chicks this year for family, friends, & anyone who would like some of my babies. When should I start hatching babies? Aka would February or March work better?

Im starting now so they are pullets by spring and if males will be ready to process by spring

Frozen eggs won't hatch, so as long as the eggs don't get frozen you can incubate whenever. The question is do you or who you are selling to have a warm place to brood the chicks this time of year?

My latest hatch just popped on Monday. I'll be setting everything I can between now and April or May I guess... and then these chicks will be old enough to start laying and I'll want to start hatching from them. :lau
