What time to change feed for chicks

Hi ya'll: At what age do I move to a food other than chick feed for my baby chickens? Thanks.

You can stay on chick starter all the way to 18-20 weeks and switch them once to layer.
Or you can "step" them. Starter/Grower then Grower then Layer.

The choice is your own to make.

Yep, you can leave them on chick starter for the duration but as soon as they start to lay (or at about 18 weeks) be sure to get them on a layer feed.
