What to clean coop run with?

Our chicks have only been in their coop/run for 3 weeks. Our run was built to be able to be removed and so in the middle of it, the run has 2"x4" frame wood pieces. These are getting covered in poop and while my coop is still smelling ok, the run doesn't. What can I use to clean the wood with that will be non-toxic for the chicks? I should tell you that we do not use chemicals in our house - no bleach in other words. I do have several environmentally friendly cleaners for our home, but I'm not sure if they can be used in a chicken coop. What about a vinegar/soap solution? Perhaps just hosing the poop off?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

When this happens to me i get the hose out and spray, spray, spray! It is very time consuming but if you dont want to use chemicals it is really the only way. I have used vinegar and water and soap and it works alright but nothing like a hose and a wire bristle brush!
