I have a variety of hens that all lay different color eggs. What would be a good egg color to cross with my welsummer roo? Likely green layers to make different generations/shades of olive eggers? I am new to hatching so any info would be helpful!
Thank you!

Wouldn't you just do all the hens?
sorry I should have clarified. I would like to breed for egg color. I have a lot of brown layers as well so I am not really interested in hatching those at this time. I am more wondering what I would get out of:
Welsummer roo crossed with Olive Eggers (lay shades of green)
Welsummer roo crossed with an Easter Egger (blue)
Welsummer roo crossed with Starlight egger (blue/green)
Any of other opportunities for fun colors that I may be looking over

What breeds do you currently have?
I have
Barred Rock
Starlight Egger - blueish green
Easter Egger - blue
Olive Egger (welsummer X green easter egger) - shade of green
Olive Egger (farm store mix) - shade of green
Mystic Maran
Amberlink
Isa Brown
Golden Laced Wyndotte
Pearl Star Leghorn
Black Australorp

Anyone have any info on these specific crosses?

A Welsummer hen should lay a dark brown egg but not all do. Since a Welsummer rooster does not lay eggs you cannot tell by looking what dark brown egg genetics he is actually contributing to the mix. It is pretty safe to assume he is contributing some shade of brown, possibly dark but it's not certain it will be that dark.

Starlight Egger - blueish green
Best I can tell this is a cross, not a breed and not stabilized genetically. It is a hybrid. About half the pullets should lay a green egg and half a brown egg.

Easter Egger - blue
An EE is not a breed. May or may not be a crossbreed. May or may not be pure for the blue egg gene. Since that EE is laying a blue egg you may get pullets that all lay green eggs or maybe 50% lay green and 50% lay brown.

Olive Egger (welsummer X green easter egger) - shade of green
Since this is a known cross and the hen is laying a green egg you should get 50% green and 50% brown

Olive Egger (farm store mix) - shade of green
Similar to the EE, since your OE is laying a green egg you might get all pullets laying green eggs or you may get 50% laying green and 50% laying brown.
