You are more than welcome. My last hatch was my first hatch and I had the same problem you are having so thats why I knew what to tell you to do. The first one that hatched out laid there forever and would not get up so I read on here and got some info and put him in a box with a heat lamp and started givin her sugar water and she just perked up and now she is fiestyest one in the bunch. I had 7 chicks and 2 turkeys hatch. Four did not. I did have to help three of them though.
The pic thing, Yeah that took me forever to figure out. On the blue line at the top click on uploads. It will bring up a box for you to search for your pic files on your computer. Underneath that is a little checkbox for you to resize your pics. Click on the arrow down box to get the one that is 640x480 then after you have the file you want to upload submit.
Now once you have what you want uploaded if you are still in the uploads page go to my uploads. Your pics will be there. Copy and paste the bottem link to the page where you are typing a post on and when you submit or preview your pics will be on there.
I always feel if I feel it in my heart to help and this baby is not going to get out with my help I HELP.
I have had to hatch a few chicks by hand and all have survived. You just got to know when its time to help and when not to. My aunt lost 3 chicks because she decided aganist her erge to help and when I got there almost 12 hours later it was too late for the babies.
Congrats!!!!! That was the exact number I had to hatch. I just went outside today and my little mama chicken that had laid nine eggs (she is tiny) had hatched one of her eggs. I was so excited. It is the size of a fifty cent piece. LOL. I will have to post pics. Their are more hatching out now. I picked her up to look under her and she liked to peck me to death. Shes a good mama. This is her first brood.
