What to do about shipped eggs?

Well...

The mail came and just the batch of 6 eggs came in. It's the batch of 28 that I'm waiting on now.

The 28 were the closest to me and shipped the earliest... I looked up the delivery confirmation and it just says that they received the electronic shipping info.

This is going to be the most stressful hatch yet, I can feel it!

So, I guess I'll put the ones I got Thursday afternoon and the ones I got an hour ago in the bator tonight and hope the others make it to me on Monday.

Sounds like what I'm facing. I thought they would be here today since they were mailed on the 16th...... They are still in the state they were mailed from!!

Dont know if this helps you but the eggs should definitely set at least 12 hours to allow the air sac to settle back down where it is suppose to be. When the tracking information says it has been electronically transmitted like on the 28 eggs it just means that the post office has been notified they need to pick up the package hints why yesterday it was still in its state. If you know when the other eggs you have were laid you have 7-10 days to put them in the bator with out effect. As it is said the lock down on day 18 is really important and once you do u should not open, which is difficult with staggard eggs, a lot of people go with the all in all out method. Hope this helps.
