My female African goose is still too rough with the duckings, so she's in her own section of the brooder. She can see the others, but she can't get to them. However, she's been trying to jump over the divider to be with them and I'm worried she's going to hurt herself. I have a Toulouse gosling, but she's very attached to the ducklings and is very unhappy when I put her with my African gosling. My African gosling is very attached to me and is very happy when I have her out, but I can't keep her with me all day & night.
Right now, she has a mirror over her food and she is allowed to spend a little time with the ducklings & other gosling during bath time. Though I have needed to remove her when she goes after the ducklings.
Do you think I should try to find another gosling to be with her? Where could I find another 2 week old female gosling?
