Thank youJust point the ducks into the wind. They are aerodynamic. In a good stong wind and you have a living weather vein. Just kidding put them away in high dangerous wind. It's not just the wind but falling limbs and other falling things.
Tarps won’t work in 75mph windsMaybe put some tarps over the opened areas so wind cant get through to the run or whatever u have opened for your chickens and ducks.
Oh I usually have mine nailed or stapledTarps won’t work in 75mph winds
Cori you asked me if my ducks were afraid of wind a while ago and I wasn't sure. I've been paying attention and the answer is definitely yes! My ducks also run back to their barn or to my feet. Wind makes them very anxious. The stronger the wind the more afraid my ducks are. I'm with Cori, I would give them a safe sheltered area. You should definitely make sure they have a sheltered area. We don't have tropical storms where I live, but my ducks are afraid of wind - whenever they're out in the yard and a breeze picks up they run back home.
