What to do on hatch day

I had to move them out. I actually have to get my butt back to work soon but i want to make sure all is good. Theyre almost dry now

I wouldn't worry too much if they were almost dry I took one out when it was almost dry to see if I could help it stand (it just layed on its back) and it's doing perfect now.

Oh and also in the brooder I put a little blanket, a stuffed animal, and a pair of old socks and they loved it. Do you have pics of the ones that hatched?

I started another post in the forum, maybe I should've kept it here - one of the chicks looks a little off, someone suggested unabsorbed yolk? Would you guys take a look? its ''Will this chick survive'' I figured id get more responses there, but its not the case

Today is day 15! I need to start thinking about exactly what to do on hatch day. 16/24 eggs have chicks inside :)

How long is it safe to leave the chicks in the incubator while waiting for their siblings to hatch.

What if an egg has pipped but not hatched, can i remove any chicks that have hatched?

Im like a nervous first time mom here
How did you're eggs do? ai got 5/7! They're SOOO cute!:love

3/16 so far - and one isnt doing so good. They all hatched today - i had so much trouble with my incubator. Ive already gotten my lecture about how I shouldnt bring ''sickly'' or ''malformed'' chickens to life - as if it was my intention - anyway, 2 seem perfectly healthy, the other seems to have a swollen abdomen, which im trying to get answers as to whether or not theres something I should be doing, but no responses. So much stress goes into this!!! I feel like I just bloody hatched out of an egg lol.

Jumping in as I have chicks hatching right now as well. Trying to decide if I should remove the 3 chicks because I have another 30 or so eggs in there and the chicks are starting to knock things around. 2 of the chicks were born at least 8 hours ago and look dry but not fluffy and the third hatched 2 hours ago and is still wet.

A few more eggs are pipped but I haven't seen movement. (To be fair I'm not spending a lot of time staring at them, maybe I should?)
