What to do on hatch day

3/16 so far - and one isnt doing so good. They all hatched today - i had so much trouble with my incubator. Ive already gotten my lecture about how I shouldnt bring ''sickly'' or ''malformed'' chickens to life - as if it was my intention - anyway, 2 seem perfectly healthy, the other seems to have a swollen abdomen, which im trying to get answers as to whether or not theres something I should be doing, but no responses. So much stress goes into this!!! I feel like I just bloody hatched out of an egg lol.

I don't know who would lecture a person about something like that, it's not like you can avoid it or predict that a chick is not doing well...

Thanks, it was a bit of a traumatizing experience for me, we did this little experiment with our 6 year old son, we were expecting far better results, but, we are quite happy with the 3 that survived.

I'll take some pictures tonight, but my son has named them Popcorn, Nugget and Shelley... Shelley still has little pieces of egg shell stuck to her lol, I guess im going to need to help her with that. Shes so cute, the youngest/smallest of them all, and she tries to stand up super tall to be as big as the others.
