We have a side by side driveway with the house next door. We own are driveway and they rent. The person hired to plow them out repeatedly clears the end of ours also.

The problem here is that the man is completely incompetent. His "help" creates far more work for us than if we just did it ourselves. I have 3 sons and a snowblower. We do not need or want his help and have spoken to him on several occasions about this.

He drives over our sidewalk to clear the end of the driveway. If you have ever tried to shovel a sidewalk that someone has driven on than you understand what I'm saying.

This last time was the worst by far - driving over the sidewalk wasn't enough - he decided to take the snow from the drivway and push it onto the front lawn. Now we can't see the road we are trying to pull out onto. We live on a HIGHWAY, not being able to see oncoming traffic is deadly.

Our "good samaritan" is apparently trying to kill us. Everytime we talk to him he apologizes and swears it won't happen again - but then it snows - and he does it again!!!!

I can't afford a lawyer and we are out of ideas here.

What would you do?

If you know it is going to snow like mad, either get those kids out to do it before he gets there or leave a car parked at the end of the driveway so he can't plow it. Apparently logic and reason aren't working with that guy, so be proactive

Maybe talk to the person who hired the man. See if they can get through to him. Tell him you got this shiny new snow blower and he is taking the fun out of using it! Even though you really appreciate the gesture. I'd worry about parking the cars out there he might plow them in!
