What to do w an unreliable incubator?

I have a cheap in incubator that worked perfectly the first hatch and then worse and worse each time. It wouldn't stabilize temp this year so I'm not using it. Would it still be useful to someone or should I just scrap it? It's forced air and it produces heat but it fluctuates wildly. Don't want to waste it if someone could use it... If you can think of a use?

The only 2 uses I can think of is to transfer chicks to from your main incubator until they fluff up (depending on how much it fluctuates) as it can get annoying when one chick kicks the egg of a half hatched chick or to raise seedlings in it.

:( sorry to hear that. I got an incubator off Amazon for $60, it always has between 50 and 60% hatching rate, but at least it's been reliable so far.... knock on wood lol

I would I give it away to someone who you know that wants an incubator so they can at least get the experience.

Or staggered hatches. Always good to have a back up incubator
Thank you for your suggestions, I'm glad I can give it away instead of pitch it Orrrr I may keep it as a backup just in case.

I'd use it exclusively as infirmary cage for sick songbird. Happens to me to find robins in shock hit by cars and had nowhere warm to put them other than my bra. Lol.
