What to do with damaged leg...

Hi, One of my 3 week old quail chicks has a damaged leg. The 'elbow' has swolen to around 3 times its normal size and it can't put its weight on on the leg. It's obviously painful. I'm not sure if it's an infection, so I've put some F10 on it (anti-bacterial, fungal cream), but if it's structural, I'm not sure what to do. It's a large chick for its age and I don't know what it has done to it.... Any advice please?

Here is a link that may be of assistance. There is a condition that you describe about half way down the page. They call it "Hock Abnormality". Hmmm, so that's what the knee region of a bird is called. I learned something new today.
