I just crack them and scramble the shell back into them. It gives her back protein and calcium

Just make sure your hen cant tell it's an egg, otherwise she might realize she makes delicious candies.
Some people cook it, I just do everything right there and feed them back as soon as I get the eggRaw?
Just, again, dont let your dogs and cats make the connection that that yummy snack is something they can get for themselves from the coop or nesting box. I say this from personal experience as my dog has taken eggs from a nest before. If you have other pets, you can feed them to dogs and cats, shell and all. If I drop one while collecting and it cracks, my dogs are lined up before I’m done inspecting it lol. If they’ve been in the fridge a while I’ll often crack some and mix them into kibble raw, shell and all for a tasty treat to get rid oldies.

My dogs eat pine chips lol they consider any floor candy food. But the quail pens are very sturdy.Just, again, dont let your dogs and cats make the connection that that yummy snack is something they can get for themselves from the coop or nesting box. Agreed, I like to think how happy my birds are and how good the eggs are compared to commercially grown eggs.I don’t see anything wrong with your aversion to eggs, but as others said they definitely aren’t babies.
I sort of think of my eggs as little gifts from my gals. I love gathering their eggs, and it’s humbling to know I am nourishing my body with the food my girls work hard to provide. In return, I love them, give them a good clean home, food, and entertainment.
Whatever you decide to do, eat them for yourself or feed them back to your girls or other pets, don’t let their little “gifts” go to waste.
