What to do with hatched chicks?

When you use the cartons, have the air cell up?

Yes, and if you use and electric turner in your bator then you would do the same thing pointed end down so the air cell is up.

When do you put them in the cartons? I don't have a turner right now so can you put the eggs in the cartons from the start and turn them? I've never heard of using cartons in the incubator. Thanks!
