What to do with male ducklings once they hatch?

You never know it may work. Is have 2 Runner drakes for 9 females and 1 Muscovy drake for 4 Muscovy females. So far it's working.

He is pretty incredible. I've never seen a duck with four colors before. I should stop trying to give him away.

Is he aggressive/hormonal/violent? Figure that's why you'd want to give away a drake. If he's not those things and you're okay taking care of him, then keep him. Maybe breed him to create even more of a mixture.

Yes only 7 weeks old so he doesn't know what the corkscrew is for yet. I need to get him some hens.

Separate the drakes and the hens, then maybe order some female ducklings (four to six) and let them mature to bring your duck/drake ratio up. Plus we at the site can maybe get picture and video of the new cute little fuzzy girl duckies...

Yes. Right now one of the drakes is only 7 weeks and I am afraid the big drake will breed him to death. He already killed one hen. He doesn't seem to be overbeeding the hen he has. The other hen is tiny and he will definitely squish her to death. In a few weeks I can separate them by sex but not just yet. I was thinking two pekin hens and two runners. That would give me six hens and two drakes. Maybe one more hen, blu e swedish.
