I have a couple of pullets that are so pretty! They are either BTB or BTW jap (momma) and mille fleur d'uccles (daddy). They look just like a BTB jap, only they have feathered legs and a beard.

Can I do anything with them? I have BTW japs and mille fleur d'uccles (obviously). They are so pretty, that I'd hate to get rid of them! Any ideas?

You could always make them part of your layer or "broody" flock!

I think I had 13 or 14 going at once this summer, hence the mixed up chicks

Couldn't let those girls set eggs for nothing

I ended up with the same thing from a birchen jap x cochin. They look like bearded, booted japs.

Japs & cochins don't have beards do they?

How would they come to have beards?

Here is one of my little mixed Jap x Mille. I really love them. Believe it or not, I have sold eggs from these several times.

These are my mixed Polish. Why? Because I love Polish and wanted some different ones, I guess. I plan to let them all mix and hatch eggs from them too and see what I get and maybe someone will want some mixed Polish eggs, who knows?
