What to do??? With more eggs than space in bator???? What do you do???

I had extra Cortunix quail eggs (I ordered 40 and the seller sent 72) Already had hen eggs set, so the extra quail, I set out along the edges of the incubator.. on the wire. I roll them by hand.

I need to get some new photos of them.

i had that same problem with a hovabator last spring, somebody told me to take out the turner and set the incubator up with a small rock under one end. just switch the rock to the other side twice a day. saves time.

I thought about something like that. I like the egg turner though. I've done the whole hand turning thing before and like the turner for saving bator openings.

Oh my, those old english are nice! I love game birds. I have a flock of rosecombs that forrage around my yard and fly up in the trees and everyone that sees them comments on how neat they are. Yours are gorgeous!!

Thanks, I got them and the Spangles at the bantam show last weekend. I am so excited about eggs from them!

Your Rosecombs are beautiful. I tried local eggs once from a show breeder here in town. But they didn't hatch. They did make it to the hatcher though. I was disappointed. But there's always the future.
