My roosters are brothers and they crow constantly and VERY loud through the day. From 4:45 am until dark. Sometimes every few minutes for hours at a time. Two means they will have crow offs which is even worse. As they mature I almost guarantee you will know about it and will have to make a choice. One option is to do what i have done. I took a solid timber large two door tv unit and put it on one side of my coop. I lined it in breathable black shade cloth. It has 1/3 of the floor removed for ventilation. It sits up on pallets for air flow with a small hole in the coop floor under the palets. I go out every night at 11pm and taken the roos off the roost and put them in it they are divided by a board with a gap at the top for airflow. At 7 am I let them out with the rest of my chickens. Even still the crow offs during the day can really get old for neighbours and yourself when it's relentless. Also you need 6-10 hens per roo to prevent over mating in my experience. My girls are struggling and the dominant roo fights off the other one when he tries to mate and the girls get stuck in the middle. I will be culling my non dominant rooster very soon.
