I saved our chicken poop in containers. This was before I learned we could have put it in with the wood shavings inside the coop with the deep litter method.
What can we do with the saved poop? It's just been in the containers for up to about 3-4 months now.
Can we just add it to the wood shavings inside the coop now? I'm a newbie chicken keeper, and would appreciate advice or suggestions you might have! Thanks

You can start a compost pile. That's where I put everything from my coops when they need to be cleaned. Once it's been left in a compost pile for a year or more, it's safe to use in your garden. I like to rotate compost piles with each year. :)

Many people do that. I have big compost bins that I put both feces and shavings in. You can also apply it to the garden. Be somewhat careful because it is pretty hot (high nitrogen). But when exposed to weather, nitrogen leaches pretty quickly.
The one plant you can apply fresh manure to is asparagus. It is nearly impossible to kill it with manure.
