What to do with spare roosters

Well a bachelor pen might work and it might not. Roosters are a bit of a crap shoot. No real perfect plans, whereas, you do this and that, and everyone is BFF.

Good luck

Yea ok so far no fighting but they are pecking now and then, I do have some 6 week old hens I might be able to put one rooster with is that ok? Because the roosters are all 20 weeks old

No, I would not recommend that. You have cockerels and pullets. Cockerels tend to become sexually mature long before their flockmates, let alone girls 14 weeks younger. The pullets will not be ready until they are closer to 4-5 months of age. A cockerel will run them ragged.

Do have a crate or something set up, when roosters go south, it can happen pretty fast.

A big issue is how much space you have. Roosters take quite a bit more space, and how close this space is to housing. One of the problems with a bachelor pad, is the crowing contests. If you have neighbors, this might be a problem. I love the crow of my rooster, however, they are a long ways from my house. A rooster's crow will carry a long distance on a cool morning. My brother can hear him a mile away. I would not want a bunch of roosters outside my bedroom window.

My favourite one is my vorwek he lives in my indoors atm this in my room and he has a diaper so I don’t get poo every where the other 3 are raised by parents before I got them, I have two female flocks with one rooster of each, I have my hens which are my year olds and above about 7 of them with a 5 year old bantam pekin rooster and I have 7 pullets ones below 6months Of age with a rooster which is younger then the pols and he is a Batam silky if I mix the hens and pullets I will have a flock of 15 with two roosters- I heard older hens discipline cockerels, but the three I have in the bachelor pen are fine so far and the pens there in is mostly dark so they grow less and the crow doesn’t seem to go out of my area to much also I live semi rural areas so people don’t really care

Ok I came outside today one shamo was badly injured and wanst moving and he was getting beaten up I have no other option but to take him inside and keep him in a large box
