What to do with this rooster?

My rooster has bum leg and is getting pecked alot by the hens. I cannot cage him up. What else can i do?

Please explain the 'bum leg'. Is it from injury? He should be separated from the girls somehow until it can heal if it's an injury. Dog crate, box, something.

He hurt himself somehow like 3 months ago. Never healed up. Again i cant cage him up.

Can you give him a box he can get into to rest if he wants?
