the best thing to do to get them used to you is like they said before hold hold and hold them some more they will natrually be afraid of you in the beginning.try holding them while you hand feed them once you get them use to being held and hand fed youll have freinds for life

Keep them warm. The heat lamp is their friend now. Keep a good radio station on 24x7.
I use a plant germinator heat mat under the bedding(It is a heavy duty commercial rubber and waterproof one) in one part of the chick ring. when your hands feel nice and warm they will LOVE it! I also put feed with a little crushed oatmeal in my hand and feed them.

Hard boiled eggs...im sorry, I thought Imentioned that. Anyways, I would hard boil...because they are softer than scrambled.

Dj, mine love the hard boiled egg (chopped up really fine). Hold them really close to you. I put mine right against my chest and talk to them softly. Hope yours calm down for you.
