Our leghorn chickens hatched today! :D This will be my first time raising baby chicks from the start. Am I supposed to feed them chick starter right away? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, start them on chick start, water and a brooder lamp right away. Also check out the raising baby chicks section. Lots of info their.

Thank you! I'll go pick some of that up. The mother hen seems to be doing a good job keeping them warm for now. I'll turn on the lamp if I notice she doesn't.

Sorry, I assumed from your post that you hatched the eggs in an incubator. Don't worry about a heat lamp it will make the hen too hot. She will do fine keeping the chicks warm. Just food and water for her and the babies. She will teach them to eat and drink. Really nothing for you to do but make sure they are in a safe from predators spot and sit back and watch her raise her babies.
