Thanks for that link.... don't know the science behind that one, but I'll give it a go...
The video is a good idea too....only we can't video the neighbours house, because we don't know which neighbour it is (we have ideas though)

I think video tapping, although it sounds extreme, is the best thing to do. If they call and complain at the rooster was crowing at 3am and you have proof that he wasn't then their creditably is toast.

If something at a neighbors house wakes me up at 3 am (stereo or partying) then the cops are called by 3:15. If the cops show up at your house and don't hear the rooster, then they have their proof.
