What to Expect When You're Expecting

Golly, thanks to you all for the warm welcome. I've been outside trying to repair the damage that two neighboring LGD (is that right? Livestock Guard Dogs?) did to my vegetable garden. Fencing wasn't complete and I left the house for a while. I'm afraid that I'm going to have those two great dogs also be predators of my chickens. We'll see how that develops. And now we've had a little light rain. Yay!

I feel like I have to learn a whole new language with everybody's acronyms for things chicken-related. So far: LGD, PDZ, and all the Chicken Breed alphabets. By the way, I'm getting BA's.
