What to feed 3 month old ducks

I have two 3 month old Pekin ducks. The feed store says to feed them chick starter, is that OK? If not, what should they be eatting?

nonmedicated feed. waterfowl feed is best. they dont need starter anymore they are old enough for reg. feed

Not an expert or anything, but at 3 months or so my ducks were eating all kinds of vegetables (usually soft or leafy,) (non-medicated) chicken feed, grass, weeds, my garden, any bugs I find laying around, various ornamental perennials (WHY DO YOU WANT THOSE LILIES SO BADLY!!!) and occasionally pecking at brightly colored bits of inedible matter. The drake in particular seems to have an obsession with one red screw cover on my grill.

Anyway, you can't mess it up too bad, as they seem to only eat what they want. Stay away from bread and popcorn, favoring veggies.

As much as they like it / try to convince you otherwise, corn is basically candy to them, so don't overdo it.

I've been recommended to buy purina nonmedicated turkey grower pellets, 16% protein. Be sure they are not getting fed higher protein than that at this age.
