Okay, so, I have a three-day-old banty in need of every ounce of strength possible. I'm not sure she/he'll make it. I'm trying my best for her, though. Currently we're giving her gatorade every hour through a makeshift syringe. Also, we're feeding her scrambled eggs (finely chopped) dunked in gatorade for extra electrolytes. I'm looking for any other way possible that will help her get better. I think I read somewhere that polyvisol might help. My mom and I are unfaimialr with it. What is it?
Also, I've read that there was somethign special you could put in a chick's water that mightg help out. What is that? Anything that will help her is greatly appreciated.

Here's everything I know:
Yesterday, her cage had wet bedding. She looked like something wa swrong with her, so I separated her from the other chicks. I blow-dried her just in case she got too wet. She's now in a box with towels surrounding her, two stuffed leopards(small), a water bottle, a saucer of gatorade-soaked, finely chopped eggs, a small puddle of gatorade (on the saucer as well), some chick starter on the towels in case she gets hungry, and a desk lamp towering over. She peeps a lot, which I assume means she's not feeling too bad. Her whole underside basically is featherless.(She had feathers there when we got her.) I have not seen her use the bathroom at all. She looks shaggy and fragile.

Polyvisol is vitamin you can find in the children medicine aisle, I saw it at Target. People also put some mother Apple Cider Vinegar in the water. You can find that in a health store or your local grocery store. Maybe give her some plain yogurt to help with digestion if you say she hasn't poop. Hope she gets better.

make sure to get the poly vi sol without iron. I bought mine at walmart's in the kids vitamin section, i think 3.00 or so.

If she is peeping real loud, she may be cold. That is how they tell their mom that they are too cold. I make up a weird "soup" for mine when they are under the weather. I boil 1 egg, put about 1/4 cup of chick starter (softened with warm water), a teaspoon of sugar, and you can add some yogurt if you like. I put all of that in a blender and blend it real smooth. Then use a syringe or child-med dropper and feed it to the chick. Sometimes I will hold it in a spoon and they will eat it from the spoon. Good luck.

I lost her about five minutes ago. My poor baby.

I sure hope she knew it.

We had a funeral for her. I had been feeding her gatorade througha syringe every hour. I have nine other chicks, and my mom has promised to replace my little one. It's just sad that she died, though.
