I have been feeding all my ducks, chickens, and guinea fowl Layer pellets. I just read that is a NO NO for the roosters and drakes. What should I be giving them? All Flock and oyster shells in a separate bowl? What about niacin? What about scratch, I always thought that scratch was candy with no food value?

Patience, grasshopper, those with the right answers (NOT me) aren't always on.
Yep, flock raiser or Chick feed with oyster shell on the side, it doesn't have to be a bowl, just a small feeder.
Standard layer feed (16%protein) is barely enough protein for your hens, not sure about the ducks but guineas need more protein, I think. As for the niacin, I don't think it will hurt if everyone has it.
Scratch isn't candy, more like cheetos, a little nutritional value but lots of carbs and fat, which doesn't hurt every once in a while, like a handful once or twice a week.
