What to feed chickens to lay more eggs.

I've seen mine take chipmunks and anything else from the cats that they can at the farm and eat small live mice and moles. I have pictures of them helping the cats corner and catch a chipmunk. People would not believe what free range chickens will eat.

I'd love to see those pictures!!

^ that is soooo cool. People who find out I got a few chickens are amazed at some of the things I tell them. Everyone seems to think chickens are vegetarians, or at least they only eat "chicken food" bought at a store.

I get almost everything I need at Tractor Supply, different feeds, water & feed cans, sunflowers seeds, and whatever else I might need.

Almost any store will have a cheap manual timer. Even grocery stores, look in the aisle with light bulbs, extension cords, automotive fuses...it's usually the same aisle as the one with garbage bags. Walmart has em pretty cheap.

The yellow cat is Garfield, the gary is GeeGee,Buckwheat is the skinny chicken, Snowball is the closest and I guess the chipmunk would be called LUNCH
