So all my pullets are about 6 months old now, and one has began to lay. At the moment they (and 2 roosters) have growers pellets and mixed grit available. I have a tiny, tiny pullet who’s never really grown, and has a lot of leg problems, and at the moment what she has is growers pellets soaked in vitamin water. What I’m saying is, I don’t know what exactly to feed her. I have no idea if she will lay an egg, and i hope she doesn’t as I’m not sure her little body could take it. I think as soon as they run out of growers i will buy them layers pellets, but do you think I should feed her them as well?

(Pic is the little bird in question)

It's hard to feed one differently unless you keep her separated. Is she? If so, definitely the grower. If not, layer but supplement with scrambled eggs, meal worms, sunflower seeds for protein boost. Won't hurt to give this to all of them. :) She's pretty, I hope she does well.

She’s separated, and gets meal worms & occasionally sunflower hearts as a treat, I’ll keep doing that then. Thank you :)

Is she sick or just deformed?
Did you hatch her?
Odd looking bird.
She looks very normal, it’s an extremely weird looking picture. She’s longer in real life. I didn’t hatch her, brought her in with a fbcm roo at about 3 days old.
1st pic is her when she was younger, 2nd is her with a little boot on (to try to correct the toes), and a gcl.

Silkie or polish mix?
Maybe bantam is the size issue?
Her body looks short compared to her wings, especially in the chick pic.
I'd feed her the same as the others...too many vitamins can be as bad as too little, depending on what they are.

Ok thank you. I really have as much idea as you with the size. The breeders i got her and the bcm off said both chickens could either be Maran, Welsummer or Brahma. Obviously that’s not true as there is silkie in there too.
