What to feed male ducks after 8 weeks?

Okay, I need some help from folks with more experience than me. I have 6 male ducks that have been on Mazuri Waterfowl Starter since birth. After two weeks they have had it mixed with oats (3:1 ratio). I have temporarily bought Mazuri Waterfowl Maintenance for them, but at $33.00 a bag I need another solution. I would like something that is pelleted and not medicated that I can mix with oats if possible.

I feed mine purina layer pellets, no problems so far and they are 8 months old.

Mine is Purina Duck food (pellets ) 16% protein,( I would not feed males layer pellets)and then u dont have to mix oats, then u can give them lettuce ,peas, corn ,tomatoes etc for treats.

If you can get it use what Hattie said. If not dont worry I too have fed all my ducks (males included ) any brand layer pellets(without cutting with oats) with never a problem. Flockraiser is good and then you can cut it with oats like you want.

just watch the protien intake when them wings start coming in so you dont have to deal with angel wing.
