OK, the chicks have finished with their "baby food" and I need to start them on the next food, 2 (a roo and a hen) are 14 weeks old, and 2 (roo's) are 16 weeks old. We are looking to buy more when the coop is done, do roosters/hen's eat the same food? What do i get?

You should feed them layena, crushed oystershell, fruits and veggies and scratch when it is cool or cold outside.

mine are the same age, and they get laying food. It's 16% protein. Our feed store recommend it. Hope this helps

Our roo's eat the layer feed also.

Probally, make sure its a smaller size. Tractor Supply & Rural King has it, but its expensive compared to the size you can get from a feed store. Also, a real corse river sand will work.
