what to feed the rooster? which chickens are best for meat?

of course not... we feed the chickens egg layer,and both the chickens and roster greens from the garden,scrach, and cracked corn which they don't seam to like much..but don't think the rooster should be feed the egg layer, he needs more than just greens.

My roo eats whatever the girls eat. He's about two years old and healthy as can be. I don't think it'll harm him to eat the egg layer food. Especially if he is getting extras as treats and greens and the like.

your not supose to feed roosters laying feed it has to much calsium
