I have 2, 9 week old pullets, and I have 4, year oldlaying hens that share a coop and yard, how do I keep the pullets from eating the layer feed and the hens from eating the grower feed, i know that pullets shouldn't eat the layer feed until they lay, is there a feed i can give both of them until the pullets start to lay without comprimising the laying hens? They free range all day? Any suggetstions would be helpful.

I give everyone an all-in-one, it's a local equivalant of flock raiser, and offer oyster shell on the side. Everyone can eat the all in one and it won't hurt the littles to eat some oyster shell. They're not too interested in it anyway.

I feed a starter feed to all my bird and offer a oyster shell mix on the side.

My chickens are eating the chicks and pullets food ( flock raiser) they refuse to eat there own now, is this ok? If I give the older Gilrls oyster shell? They have not touched there food since the chicks came 6 weeks ago!
