What to feed?

I'm up in Northeastern PA and I have 10 pullets that my girls are raising for 4-H and laying eggs. My chickens only free range about 1 day a week and the rest of the time they are enclosed in their run. What would be a good supplement and treat to feed for them other than their regular pellets and I also throw in a bunch of scratch mix daily.

They don't actually need anything but the pellets. Scratch is chicken candy, they love it, but don't be tempted to feed too much.

On the other hand, you can give almost anything you would eat as a treat. Look here:
