Wondering what to mark on the eggs for a great hatch. Also how long should I wait before putting the shipped hatching eggs in the incubator.

Well, you have to mark an X in one side of the egg, and an O on the other so that you can be sure they're turning ok. I like to put on the date they were laid, and the breed that they are. Then I number them, #1-through however many eggs you have.

Shipped eggs should rest for 24 hours before being set in the incubator.

It's no necessary to mark your eggs if your incubator has an auto turner.
If not the X and O markings are best.
