I have always found if I name something with a person's name, I meet someone named that almost immediately.
I call my roo Captain, because I reserver the General position for myself.
If you are a new chicken owner, I do caution you, that very tame roosters can become demons as they mature, and attack people, as they have no fear of people. This can be especially dangerous with children. This board is full of posts that the sweetest rooster, became agrresively attacking people, but generally smaller people first.
