WHAT TO USE ON WET GROUND IN RUN

I live in southern florida my chickens are 6wks old now and just moved outside, now its starting to be rainy on occasion here what can i put in the outside run so they dont get to muddy is straw or hay okay?

I'd throw in a little loose straw, wait a day or so and throw in some more. If and when it gets moldy, clean it up and throw down some more.

Straw works well, but yes, you will need to remove it eventually. I just put a few wooden pallets in. This way, they an get up out of the mud, and it only takes a minute or two to remove the pallets when it dries up.

Pallets i can get them easy from work throw them out all the time thanks for the ideas

I've heard wood chips are good...not like shavings, but the larger pieces. A few inches of that should keep them up out of the mud.
