what to use to separate chicks?

Just wondering - we have a small styrofoam incubator that we hatch in - we've never separated chicks during the actual hatch. I'm wanting to keep them separate so I can keep the breeds distinguished. What do most people use to accomplish this?

I thought maybe a 2x4 but all my boards are treated and that doesn't seem wise to put in there due to the chemicals on it.

I have used plastic canvas from the hobby store and make fences. I have also used the plastic containers strawberries and blueberries come in.

That's a good idea. We might have one of strawberry containers. Today is lock down so I need to figure something out
