What to wash brooder in!!!

    what will i wash my brooder in!! soap!!
    Chicks havent hatched yet!!
    its a plastic box!!!!

    If you have never had babies in it before, than soap will work fine. If you have raised chicks in it before, I would use a bleach/water solution to get all the bacterias and diseases off the surfaces.

    Lol!!! You're very shouty!!!!

    My current brooder is an empty aquarium. I only ever clean aquariums out using very hot water. With the chicks in, I'm not washing it, just changing the paper towels once a day.
    I'm going to move them into my 'small' degu cage, once I've washed it and the extras have arrived. I'm washing that in bleach and I've leave it to stand for a couple of days.

    Not sure if I've helped, but it's what I do!!!!
