what type of bedding??

Just wondering what type of bedding you all use? Straw or shavings?

i use pine shavings.

I use sawdust from a friend's table saw. My coop has a dirt floor and the girls scratch it all up. When it gets all mixed up with poop, dirt and the sawdust and starts to smell, I add some more sawdust. It makes a super compost.

I used shavings on the coop floor and hay for the bedding. I find it softer than straw and my girls love it.
