What type of chick is this?

I recently hatched some chicks and was amazed to see one of the yellow chicks had black stripes! Like what?! This is so cool! These chicks are all mix breed... But what color might this chick look like as an adult? I thought it was that chipmunk type color that looks like a partridge as an adult... But it doesn't seem to have the eye stripe they usually have... Any ideas?

That does look like VERY faint chipmunk patterning, but not sure - super super cute though

i wonder if it'll look like a partridge! I'll be sure to show what it looks like as it gets older and it's feathers come in!

My guess is that it will end up similar to wheaten in appearance

This is what it looks like today! It's feathers have grown in a ton! Still no idea what it'll look like though...

A few days ago I was like "maybe it'll look like a Columbian since it's grandpa was a light Sussex rooster... but now I'm really not sure

It's strange how as time passes the chicks color gets more and more grey

It's also interesting how one of the other white chick has basically identical feather coloration

That's really cool! When do you think I might be able to tell male from female based off feathering if possible?

So I recently got back from a trip and I'm happy to say that the chick with the stripes is doing great! I'm almost 100% sure it's a pullet too! They're over 3 weeks or so now and they're almost fully feathered too!

This is the chick with the stripes

This is the one that was yellow without stripes next to the black one

They're also roosting now!
